Conchateller

Conchateller, installation (Al generated-photographies and Al-generated video with song), 2025, EKAVART Gallery, Istanbul/Türkiye

Conchateller is an invitation to hear the voice of the Mother Goddess, who appears in many mythologies, through the symbolism of the seashell — questioning homecoming, protection, birth, and rebirth.

It traces the footsteps of ancient goddess archetypes carrying the energies of love, war, wisdom, and motherhood. At the heart of this journey lies Aphrodite’s birth from sea foam and the womb-like form of the seashell. Seashells are not merely elegant forms; in the past, they were used as Vishnu’s sacred war conch, carrying the sound of victory, sanctity, and eternal cycles. The seashell also points to a life woven with the balance of feminine and masculine forces.

The visuals and music, created with artificial intelligence, carry a flowing resonance — the sound of spiral memory echoing through time. At the same time, it reminds us — in the age of climate change — to move beyond human-centered thinking and embrace the wisdom of living in harmony with all species. The seashell reveals that interspecies communication is possible; nature has always whispered its wisdom to those who listen. It awakens the compass within, reminding us of that timeless voice holding the softness of love, the courage of war, the guidance of wisdom, and the tenderness of the mother.

And when you hold the shell close to your ear, you hear:
the song of water,
the cycle of life,
and the breath of a new beginning — your own voice…
