“Am I far from heaven?” is a performance that invites the bodies in the public space to the vibrant world of game and dance at Bahariye Street,Istanbul. Pink ropes, performers who wear pink boiler suits and games that comes from our childhood years like jump rope together become parts of memory of the participants, viewers and the people who walks from that streets randomly. Duration of performance is nearly 90 minutes is created through approaches in pagan rituals, iconography, dance and movement therapy. Performance helps us that give a short break from daily life to ourselves to focus on the minor things that arise from autobiographical stories. Because, as we repair ourselves, we all begin to be repaired as we relate to everything. If we want to heal ourselves, you have to ‘Leaving the Echo Chamber’.
